2023 - 2026Social and local utility

Up Group believes that you cannot separate economic development and societal commitment. This dual requirement is reflected in Up Group's new strategic plan for 2023-2026. It reaffirms our resolve to be agents of change in dealing with social and climate crises, while giving even more meaning to our commitment to a more sustainable society.

Impact enterprises

In January, the cooperative Up (also the parent company of Up Group) and its Italian subsidiary Up Day incorporated their impact company model into their status - becoming a "mission company" for the cooperative and a "Sociétà Benefit" for UpDay.

These two impact company models further underline the Up Group's ambition to position itself as a responsible and committed player, aware of its impact on society.

Upcoop has thus adopted a purpose : "Sustainable cooperation for socially useful and local purchasing power" and 5 mission objectives.

Experimenting in view of more sustainable consumption

Developments in recent years have made it possible to simplify user experience and improve use orientation toward responsible consumption: multi-benefit cards, the Up+ program which provides offers relating to sustainable food and city center revitalization, the "Achieving responsible consumption together" program, partnerships with labels or responsible networks, developing "responsible consumption" solutions and applications (locating outlets that offer responsible consumption, a blog, anti-waste solution, carbon calculator, etc.)
